for over 20 years i‘ve worked in the music industry as a singer, voice teacher, choir director, ensemble singer and arranger. here are a few of the high points:
- born in vista, california in 1969
- received my bachelor of arts in music on a jensen scholarship from luther college in decorah, iowa
- winner of the national collegiate quartet competition for the barbershop harmony society with the a cappella quartet „waterstreet juction“
- performed in berlin‘s friedrichstadtpalast in the revue „jazzleggs“ with waterstreet junction
- singer and arranger in the a cappella quartet world a fair (among others, we performed in berlin‘s bar jeder vernunft and hamburg‘s schmidt tivoli)
- headliners of the international a cappella festival „nacht der stimmen“ in marburg, germany in 1996 with world a fair
- studied voice with richard conrad in boston and sang in the opera chorus of the „boston academy of music“
- worked as a voice teacher at various music schools in berlin (piano e forte, vokalstudio berlin, and as an assistant to professor scot wier at the hannes eisler)
- worked as a choir director and arranger for the a cappella choir „absolutely unterhaltsam“ until 2007 and am presently directing the gospel choir „marvelous praise“
- presently, i live in work in berlin as a singer, voice teacher, choir director and arranger
